Jet2 has announced a significant expansion at London Luton Airport for Summer 2027, launching five new routes and adding a fourth based aircraft, bringing total seats on sale to over 700,000, a 15% increase on Summer 2026.
The new routes are Malaga (three weekly flights from May 21), Crete Chania (weekly Sundays from May 23), Kefalonia (weekly Wednesdays from May 26), Halkidiki (weekly Thursdays from May 20), and Dubrovnik (twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays from May 7). Three of the five — Kefalonia, Halkidiki, and Dubrovnik — will be exclusive to Jet2 from London Luton Airport.
The airline is also extending its summer seasons on existing routes. Corfu will start earlier from April 1, 2027, capturing the Easter holiday period, while Girona’s season is extended at both ends, running from May 2 to October 31.
Jet2 will operate up to 55 weekly departing flights during peak periods and will serve 27 destinations from Luton in Summer 2027.
“Due to the continued demand from customers and independent travel agents for more choice and flexibility, we have once again responded with an even bigger and better programme for Summer 2027,” said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.
The additional capacity represents a total of almost 90,000 extra seats from Luton, supported by a fourth based aircraft, reflecting Jet2’s growing commitment to the airport since launching operations there.
