Emirates is bringing its Premium Economy class to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain

Airlines & Airports

Starting in late October 2025, Emirates will offer Premium Economy on flights to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain. This upgrade is part of a large project to improve passenger comfort and ensure a consistent experience on both regional and long-distance flights.

Emirates is expanding its Premium Economy class to flights from Dubai to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain, letting additional customers try this service. This change brings the upgraded seating option to over 635 weekly flights. It's part of Emirates' plan to update their planes.

More Comfortable Travel

Starting October 26, 2025, the daily EK903/904 flights to Amman will use a four-class Airbus A380 with updated interiors, plus Premium Economy. On the same day, Mumbai's EK504/505 flights will switch to a Boeing 777 that has been redone, so passengers on 22 weekly flights can use the better cabins.

A few days later, on October 30, Emirates will start using its Airbus A350 on all nine weekly flights to Muscat. This will make the trip to Muscat one of the shortest routes with the airline's better seating option. By December 4, Bahrain's EK833/834 flights will get another updated Boeing 777, so the country will only have planes with better features.

What Passengers Can Expect

Premium Economy is meant to be between Business Class and Economy. It has wider leather seats, more legroom, a bigger recline, and better food served with real dishes and silverware. On planes that have been redone, passengers will also see updated Business Class cabins and refreshed interiors in all classes.

Because of this growth, if you're flying through Dubai for a long trip or traveling nearby, you'll have more chances to enjoy a better travel experience.

Part of a Larger Update Program

This change is a step in Emirates’ project to update 219 planes (A380s and Boeing 777s), costing billions of dollars. The airline finishes about one plane every three weeks and has already updated over 60 planes. The new Airbus A350s, which are joining the fleet from 2024, are helping Emirates modernize its service.

The airline thinks it will have almost 2 million Premium Economy seats by the end of the year, which is up from 1.8 million now. This shows that more people want better seats when they travel for fun.

What's Next

Premium Economy is popular on important routes like London Heathrow, Paris CDG, Sydney, and New York JFK. Now that Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain are included, Emirates is giving more regional travelers this experience.

For passengers, this growth means more choice, more comfort, and a more reliable experience on different flights. For Emirates, it shows they are mixing new ideas with large-scale operations and keeping their reputation as a top airline.
