1. Who We Are

TravelWires is a press release distribution platform built for the travel industry. We help airlines, hotels, tourism boards, travel tech companies, and other businesses get their news in front of the people who matter, journalists, media outlets, and industry professionals.

We connect your press releases with:

• Travel industry publications
• Regional and national media outlets
• Search engines and news aggregators
• Travel journalists and bloggers

2. How You Can Use TravelWires

Permitted Uses

You can use TravelWires to:

• Submit press releases related to travel, hospitality, tourism, and aviation
• Distribute news about your company, products, services, or events
• Read and browse publicly available press releases and content
• Share links to TravelWires content on social media or other platforms
• Quote excerpts from press releases with proper attribution

Prohibited Uses

You cannot use TravelWires to:

• Publish misleading, false, or fraudulent information
• Distribute spam, advertising disguised as news, or promotional content that violates our editorial guidelines
• Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or illegal
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content
• Republish full press releases without permission from the original submitter
• Use content for training AI models or machine learning systems without written permission
• Reverse engineer or abuse our Platform’s technical infrastructure
• Impersonate another company, person, or entity

We reserve the right to reject any submission that violates these rules or our editorial guidelines.

3. Your Content & Responsibilities

What You Submit

When you submit a press release or other content to TravelWires, you’re confirming that:

1. You own it or have permission to use it. This includes the content itself, any images, quotes, or other materials.
2. It’s accurate. You’re responsible for fact-checking. We distribute hundreds of releases, we can’t verify every claim.
3. It meets our editorial guidelines. We have quality standards. Check them on our website before submitting.
4. It’s legal. Your content can’t violate privacy laws, defamation laws, spam regulations, or any other applicable laws.

What We Can Do With Your Content

By submitting content, you grant TravelWires a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Publish and distribute your press release across our network
• Edit for grammar, formatting, or clarity (substantive edits require your approval)
• Archive your content on our Platform
• Share your content with our media partners and distribution channels

We can edit or reject submissions at our discretion. If we reject your content, we’ll explain why.

Removal Requests

We can remove press releases from TravelWires.com. But here’s the thing: once we distribute your release to third-party sites, search engines, and media outlets, it’s out of our control. We can’t pull it back from the internet.

4. Our Services & Limitations

What We Provide

We distribute your press releases through online channels to make them available to media outlets, journalists, and search engines. We do not guarantee:

• Specific placement on any website or publication
• Media pickup or coverage by third parties
• Rankings on search engines
• A specific number of views or readers

Timing

We aim to distribute approved press releases promptly, usually within 24-48 hours. If technical issues or delays occur, we’ll notify you. If your release isn’t distributed within 30 days of payment for reasons outside your control, we’ll work with you to resolve it or issue a refund.

Service Availability

We run the platform on an “as-is” basis. We work hard to keep everything running smoothly, but we’re not perfect. Downtime happens. Bugs happen. Technical glitches happen. We fix them as fast as we can.

No Warranties

TravelWires makes no warranties, express or implied, about the Platform or our services. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee error-free operation, specific results, or compatibility with your systems.

5. Pricing & Payments

Fees

You agree to pay the fees associated with the services you select. Fees are listed on our website and are subject to change. We’ll notify you of any price changes before they take effect.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due upfront for most services unless we agree to different terms in writing.
• All payments are non-refundable unless we fail to deliver the service due to our own error.
• Taxes are your responsibility. Prices exclude applicable taxes, levies, or duties, which you must pay.

Billing Information

You must provide accurate billing and contact information. If your payment fails or your account becomes delinquent, we may suspend or terminate your access.

6. Account Management

Registration

To use certain features, you’ll need to create an account. You’re responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that happens under your account
• Updating your contact and billing information

Account Termination

We can suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your account becomes delinquent
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• We discontinue the Platform or your service tier

You can terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination doesn’t entitle you to a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Trademarks

TravelWires, our logo, and related marks are our property. You can’t use them without our written permission. You can’t claim affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from TravelWires unless we’ve agreed to it.

Your Trademarks

You retain ownership of your company names, logos, and trademarks. By submitting content, you grant us permission to use them solely for distributing your press releases.

Platform Content

The Platform itself, including its design, code, features, and functionality is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You can’t copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of it.

8. Liability & Indemnification

Limitation of Liability

TravelWires is not liable for:

• Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Damages arising from third-party actions (e.g., media outlets not picking up your release)

Our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Your Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TravelWires, our partners, and our vendors if:

• Your content violates someone else’s rights or breaks the law
• Your use of the platform causes harm to us or someone else
• You breach these terms

Plain English: if we get sued because of something you did, you cover our legal fees and damages.

9. Termination

Either party can terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Platform ends immediately
• You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
• Sections of these Terms that should survive (like indemnification and liability) remain in effect

10. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution First

Most matters can be addressed efficiently through open communication. Before initiating any formal process, please contact us at office@travelwires.com. Direct dialogue is typically faster, more transparent, and significantly less burdensome for all parties.

Binding Arbitration

If a matter cannot be settled informally, it will be resolved through binding arbitration, not through court litigation. Arbitration will be:

• conducted under the rules of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIA), or another arbitration body mutually agreed by both parties
• held in Bucharest, Romania
• conducted in English
• designed to be more efficient and cost‑effective than traditional court proceedings
• final and binding, with limited grounds for appeal under Romanian arbitration law

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve any dispute with us individually. By using the Platform, you waive the right to participate in class actions, class‑wide arbitration, or any consolidated or representative proceedings.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Romania, excluding conflict‑of‑law principles. Any matters that fall outside arbitration will be handled exclusively by the courts of Bucharest, Romania.

Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may seek injunctive relief in the competent courts of Bucharest to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized use of the Platform. These specific actions may proceed in court without requiring arbitration.

11. Changes to These Terms

We can update these Terms at any time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.

If you don’t agree with the changes, stop using the Platform.
