Wyndham Rewards Named Best Hotel Loyalty Program in USA TODAY Readers’ Choice Awards

Wyndham Rewards has once again been named the Best Hotel Loyalty Program in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, extending its winning streak to nine consecutive years.

The company’s Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card also retained its position as the Best Hotel Credit Card for the eighth straight year, according to readers participating in the annual travel awards.

The recognition follows another recent accolade for the loyalty programme after U.S. News & World Report ranked Wyndham Rewards as the top hotel rewards programme in its latest industry rankings.

Focus on Straightforward Rewards

Wyndham says the programme continues to stand out by offering fixed redemption rates rather than dynamic pricing, allowing members to redeem points without award costs increasing during peak travel periods.

Members currently earn at least 1,000 points on every qualifying hotel stay, while free night redemptions start from 7,500 points. The company also confirmed that the entry-level redemption rate will be reduced to 5,000 points next month.

“Our focus has always been on delivering meaningful value,” said Scott Strickland, Chief Commercial Officer at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

“Seeing travelers continue to rank the program number one is a powerful validation that we’re delivering on what our members expect.”

More Ways to Use Points

Beyond hotel stays, Wyndham Rewards members can redeem points for travel experiences, sporting events and complete holiday packages through the company’s expanding rewards platform.

Members can also use points on flights, cruises, rental cars and activities through Wyndham Travel Bundles, while the recently introduced Wyndham Rewards Insider subscription offers additional travel discounts, automatic Gold status and enhanced earning opportunities.

Expanded Credit Card Portfolio

Earlier this year, Wyndham refreshed its co-branded credit card portfolio in partnership with Barclays, introducing new benefits across its range of consumer and business cards.

The lineup now includes the new Wyndham Rewards Earner® Premier Card, the company’s first premium credit card, offering enhanced rewards, a 25% discount on free night redemptions and points that never expire.

Cardholders across the portfolio also earn bonus points on Wyndham hotel stays and everyday spending categories including dining, groceries, fuel and EV charging.

With more than 126 million enrolled members worldwide, Wyndham Rewards remains one of the world’s largest hotel loyalty programmes, covering thousands of hotels, vacation rentals and resorts across more than 100 countries.
