Wizz Air Adds Rome, Milan, and Venice Routes from London Luton
Passengers flying from London Luton Airport (LLA) now have more Italian destinations to choose from, thanks to Wizz Air’s latest route expansion. The airline has launched 11 weekly flights to Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa, offering convenient options for city breaks, cultural getaways, and business travel.
From 1 December 2025, Wizz Air will further grow its Italian offering with a new year-round route to Venice. This new connection brings the romantic charm of the canal city within easy reach of UK travellers.
Simon Harley, Interim Director of Aeronautical Revenue at London Luton Airport, said:
“A commitment to bringing greater choice is central to our passenger experience. These new routes to Rome, Milan and Venice are fantastic news for the millions who choose LLA each year. Our strong partnership with Wizz Air continues to deliver more opportunities to explore popular European cities.”
The timing of the launch aligns with key cultural events, including the Romaeuropa Festival in Rome and BookCity Milano in Milan—ideal for travellers seeking authentic experiences this autumn.
Yvonne Moynihan, Managing Director at Wizz Air UK, added:
“We are excited to expand our operations from London Luton with routes to Italy’s iconic cities. The UK remains a strategic market for Wizz Air, and we’re proud to offer greater connectivity at affordable fares. We thank our loyal passengers and our partners at LLA for their continued support.”
Looking ahead, Wizz Air will expand its LLA schedule in Spring 2026 with five new routes to Spanish destinations: Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, and Seville.
