IHG Signs Coffee-Inspired Noted Collection Hotel in Amman

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with Jordanian coffee company Al Ameed Coffee to bring its Noted Collection brand to Jordan. The planned 50-room hotel in Amman will centre its design and guest experience on the country’s coffee traditions.

Announced on September 21, 2026, the agreement introduces a new hospitality venture for Al Ameed Coffee, whose history in Jordan spans more than five decades. An opening date has not been announced.

Coffee at the Centre of the Stay

The hotel will stand on a main corridor linking Amman with Queen Alia International Airport, in an area of growing residential and commercial development.

Its first two floors will house a coffee reserve and experience centre, exploring the craft, heritage and rituals of coffee through a dedicated food and beverage offering. The theme will continue in the guestrooms and through coffee-related experiences during guests’ stays.

For Al Ameed Coffee, the project extends its established business into accommodation.

“This hotel is a natural evolution of that story, an opportunity to translate what we have created through coffee into a complete hospitality experience, rooted in Jordan and designed to be remembered,” said Basel Daher, Managing Partner of Al Ameed Coffee.

Noted Collection Makes Its Jordan Debut

Recently introduced as IHG’s 21st brand, Noted Collection groups independent hotels selected for their individual character and connection to their location.

The Amman property will combine Al Ameed Coffee’s local identity with access to IHG’s commercial systems, global network and IHG One Rewards loyalty programme.

Haitham Mattar, IHG’s Managing Director for India, the Middle East and Africa, said the concept reflected the brand’s focus on hotels shaped by their surroundings.

“Rooted in the craft, culture and ritual of coffee, the hotel will offer a stay shaped by local heritage and designed to spark curiosity, connection and conversation,” he said.

Expanding IHG’s Presence in Jordan

The signing adds a future fourth brand to IHG’s Jordan portfolio. The group currently operates eight hotels in the country across InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Resort.

The planned Amman hotel will bring a smaller, coffee-focused property to that mix, with its experience centre forming a central part of the offering alongside the accommodation.
