Eurowings Adds Baghdad Flights from Berlin and Düsseldorf

Eurowings will launch direct flights to Baghdad from Berlin and Düsseldorf on 10 December 2026, adding the Iraqi capital to its winter 2026/27 network. Each route is scheduled to operate twice a week.

The new services expand the Lufthansa Group airline’s presence in Iraq, where it already serves Erbil, and form part of a broader winter schedule covering the Middle East, European destinations, the Canary Islands and Egypt.

Dubai Leads Middle East Schedule

Eurowings plans 14 weekly flights to Dubai during winter 2026/27: a daily service from Berlin, four flights a week from Stuttgart and three from Cologne/Bonn.

Jeddah will be served twice weekly from both Berlin and Stuttgart, alongside three weekly flights from Cologne/Bonn. The airline will also operate two flights a week between Stuttgart and Amman.

Its wider regional schedule includes direct Erbil services from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Hamburg, Hanover and Stuttgart. Tel Aviv is scheduled to receive three weekly flights from Düsseldorf, while Beirut will be connected with Stockholm, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Prague and Salzburg.

Premium BIZ Seat Rolls Out on Dubai Flights

From 1 December 2026, Eurowings will offer its Premium BIZ Seat on all flights to Dubai, as well as selected services to London Heathrow, Mallorca and Málaga.

The seating configuration places eight seats across the first two rows of an Airbus A320neo in a 2–2 layout. Features include wider seats, additional legroom, greater recline and adjustable leg rests.

The rollout adds another option for passengers on the airline’s longer routes, alongside the expansion of its Middle East network.
