American Airlines is introducing seasonal dishes across its Flagship and Admirals Club lounges this September and October, with menus varying by airport.
The updates range from chicken adobo and seafood ceviche in selected Flagship lounges to a build-your-own taco bar and regional chicken dishes at Admirals Club locations.
What’s on the Flagship Lounge Menu
Three Flagship lounges will feature dishes drawing on different regional influences:
- Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW): Chicken adobo
- Philadelphia (PHL): Truffle arancini with Parmesan fondue
- Miami (MIA): Florida snapper ceviche
Alongside the seasonal menus, American highlights its new Flagship Dining experience at Dallas-Fort Worth and Miami. The airline also offers QR-code ordering for freshly prepared dishes in its Flagship lounges.
Taco Bars and Regional Dishes at Admirals Club
The Admirals Club updates include a build-your-own beef barbacoa taco bar at Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Denver (DEN) and St. Louis (STL).
On the West Coast and in Phoenix, menus will feature sesame orange glazed chicken. The dish will be available at Los Angeles (LAX), Santa Ana (SNA), San Francisco (SFO) and Phoenix (PHX).
At New York’s JFK and LaGuardia (LGA) airports, as well as Newark (EWR), guests will find Creole-style chicken served on rustic white bean cassoulet.
Seasonal Rollout Through September and October
American says the announced dishes are a preview of the wider seasonal offerings arriving across its lounge network during September and October.
For travellers with lounge access, the refresh adds more variety to pre-flight dining, with the available dishes depending on the airport and lounge visited.
