Wizz Air is restoring a significant part of its Middle East network for the 2026/27 winter season, bringing back 12 routes connecting European cities with Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Amman.
The airline has already resumed services to Jeddah and Amman, while flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi will return from October 25, followed by additional route resumptions over the following days.
Once the programme is fully restored, Wizz Air will operate 49 weekly flights across the 12 routes and offer approximately 470,000 seats during the winter season.
Wizz Air brings Dubai and Abu Dhabi flights back in October
The largest part of the returning schedule involves the United Arab Emirates.
Wizz Air will resume flights from Budapest, Katowice and Bucharest on October 25, followed by additional services from Larnaca, Sofia, Cluj and Krakow on October 27.
The airline will operate daily flights between Bucharest and Dubai, with fares starting from €79.99.
Budapest will receive five weekly flights to Dubai and four weekly services to Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi will also be connected with Larnaca, Sofia, Cluj, Krakow and Katowice.
Katowice will have five weekly flights, while Larnaca, Sofia and Krakow will each receive three. Cluj will be served twice weekly.
Jeddah and Amman services already returning
Wizz Air began restoring some Middle East routes ahead of the main winter schedule.
Milan-Jeddah resumed on September 6 with daily flights, followed by Rome-Jeddah on September 7 with four weekly services.
Budapest-Jeddah will return on October 27 with three weekly flights.
Flights between Budapest and Amman are scheduled to resume on September 22, operating three times per week.
The complete programme connects four Middle Eastern destinations with nine European cities: Budapest, Bucharest, Cluj, Sofia, Larnaca, Krakow, Katowice, Milan and Rome.

The lowest advertised fare across the returning routes is €24.99 one way for Larnaca-Abu Dhabi.
Bucharest-Dubai returns as a daily service
For the Romanian market, Wizz Air is restoring two direct Middle East connections.
The Bucharest-Dubai route returns on October 25 with seven flights per week, effectively providing a daily service between the Romanian capital and Dubai.
Two days later, Wizz Air will restart its Cluj-Abu Dhabi connection, operating twice weekly with fares starting from €39.99.
The routes provide direct access to the UAE while also restoring winter leisure capacity from two of Wizz Air’s important Romanian bases.
Services return following updated security assessments
The restoration follows a review of operating conditions in the Middle East.
Wizz Air said its decision follows the latest review and revision of conflict-zone recommendations for the region by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), alongside the carrier’s own operational and security assessments.
The airline said conditions will continue to be monitored and that individual services remain subject to ongoing security and operational reviews.

With the full schedule restored, Wizz Air expects to offer approximately 470,000 seats to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE during the winter season.
