Wizz Air Launches Two New Direct Routes from Poland
Wizz Air has announced the launch of two new direct routes from Poland, expanding travel options for passengers and strengthening the airline’s presence in Central Europe for Summer 2026.
From 1 May 2026, Wizz Air will operate a new Katowice to Barcelona service, linking the Silesian region of Poland with the popular Spanish destination on the Mediterranean coast. The route will be served with regular weekly flights, providing a convenient connection for leisure travellers heading to one of Spain’s most visited cities.
In addition, the airline will introduce a **direct service between **Warsaw and Seville, also starting on 1 May 2026. The new link to the capital of Andalusia offers Polish travellers another attractive option for sunshine breaks, cultural experiences and southern Spanish leisure travel. Both routes will be operated with Wizz Air’s modern, fuel-efficient Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Wizz Air says the new connections respond to growing interest in affordable direct travel from Poland to key European destinations. The additions also reflect continued demand for leisure travel and easy access to beach and city break destinations during the busy summer travel season.
Passengers can book seats on the new routes via Wizz Air’s website and app, with competitive fares aimed at attracting both holidaymakers and travellers visiting friends and relatives abroad.
With these route expansions, Wizz Air continues to broaden its Polish network, complementing existing services from airports such as Warsaw, Katowice and Gdańsk and reinforcing its role as a key low-cost carrier in the region.
