Qatar Airways Holidays Launches Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2026 Stopover Packages

Qatar Airways Holidays Launches Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2026 Stopover Packages

Qatar Airways Holidays is expanding its Formula 1 travel offering with new stopover packages for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2026, allowing passengers connecting through Doha to combine their journey with a three-day race experience.

For the first time, Qatar Airways Holidays will integrate a three-day Formula 1 ticket with flights and hotel accommodation as part of its Qatar Stopover programme.

The packages are designed for passengers transiting through Hamad International Airport and will provide access to the race weekend at Lusail International Circuit from November 27 to 29, 2026.

Qatar Stopover Packages to Include Three-Day F1 Tickets

The new packages will include a three-day T16 Grandstand ticket for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2026.

The T16 Grandstand overlooks the final sector of Lusail International Circuit, providing spectators with views of one of the closing sections of the lap.

The stopover product will complement Qatar Airways Holidays’ existing Formula 1 packages, which already combine flights, hotels and race tickets for fans travelling specifically to attend the event.

The new option instead allows passengers travelling through Doha for another business or leisure trip to incorporate the Grand Prix into their stopover.

Four Qatar Stopover Hotel Categories Available

Travellers will be able to choose between several accommodation categories depending on their budget and preferred type of stay.

The available Qatar Stopover categories include:

  • Standard
  • Premium
  • Luxury
  • Premium Beach

The packages will continue to include the flexible 24-hour hotel check-in and check-out offered through the Qatar Stopover programme.

Travellers Can Add Doha Experiences to Their F1 Stopover

Customers will also be able to customise their stay with additional activities and experiences in Qatar.

Options include city tours, beach club access and other destination experiences, allowing travellers to combine the race weekend with time exploring Doha.

To access the Formula 1-inclusive stopover packages, customers will need to search for travel dates between November 27 and 29, 2026.

After selecting their flights and preferred hotel, the three-day race ticket will be included as part of the package.

Qatar Airways Expands Formula 1 Travel Offering

Qatar Airways is the Global Partner and Official Airline of Formula 1 and has increasingly integrated major motorsport events into its travel and holiday products.

The new stopover option extends that strategy by making the Qatar Grand Prix accessible to passengers already travelling through the airline’s Doha hub.

Rather than booking a dedicated Formula 1 trip, eligible passengers will be able to incorporate the race weekend into a wider international itinerary.

The packages will include access to the Grand Prix alongside the opportunity to experience Doha’s restaurants, cultural attractions, entertainment and hospitality during the stopover.

Privilege Club Members Can Earn Avios and Qpoints

Qatar Airways Privilege Club members booking eligible packages will also be able to collect Avios and Qpoints.

Members can use Cash + Avios to pay for eligible packages, combining loyalty currency with a cash payment.

This extends the loyalty benefits available through Qatar Airways Holidays beyond the flights themselves to the wider travel package.

Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix Stopover Packages Launch Later in August

The new Formula 1-inclusive Qatar Stopover packages are expected to become available for booking through Qatar Airways Holidays later in August 2026, subject to availability and applicable terms and conditions.

The product adds another option alongside the company’s existing Formula 1 fan packages, which are aimed at travellers planning dedicated trips around major races.

Qatar Airways Holidays currently operates in more than 100 countries and offers packages across more than 170 destinations, with access to over 750,000 hotels and more than 40 cruise options.

Its portfolio includes flight and hotel packages, Qatar stopovers, cruises, tours and transfers, as well as packages combining travel with major sporting events.

With the latest launch, passengers travelling through Doha during the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2026 weekend will be able to turn their connection into a multi-day stay incorporating accommodation and access to all three days of racing at Lusail International Circuit.
