London Stansted Breaks Down Its Summer Parking Options

London Stansted Airport is encouraging passengers to book parking in advance ahead of what is expected to be one of its busiest summers, highlighting five official parking options to suit different budgets and travel styles.

Meet & Greet is aimed at families and those with heavy luggage — passengers drive to a dedicated drop-off point, hand over their keys, and head straight to the terminal. Short Stay is the closest option to the terminal, suited for shorter trips where walking distance matters. Mid Stay strikes a balance between price and convenience, with a free shuttle bus to the terminal in a few minutes, and is a popular choice for week-long holidays. Long Stay offers better value for trips of one to two weeks and also includes regular free transfers. JetParks is the most affordable option, with 24-hour free shuttle buses running around the clock.

Pre-booking through the official London Stansted website or trusted comparison sites is recommended, as it can offer significant savings compared to paying on arrival. The airport’s official facilities are Park Mark accredited and located on-site.

The advice comes after recent consumer reports flagged issues with unregulated parking providers, including vehicle damage, delays retrieving cars, and unexpected charges.

“Whether you’re looking for the convenience of Meet & Greet, the value of Long Stay or something in between, there’s an official parking option to suit every journey and budget,” said Nick Millar, Operations Director at London Stansted.
