BER Winter 2025/26: New Routes and Fleet Upgrades from easyJet, Transavia France, and Wizz Air
The Winter 2025/26 flight schedule at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is off to a strong start, as easyJet, Transavia France, and Wizz Air unveil new destinations, increase flight frequencies, and bring more efficient aircraft to the region.
Starting 27 October 2025, easyJet will begin twice-weekly flights to Seville, Spain – a BER first – operating on Mondays and Fridays. Known for its flamenco roots, historic Alcázar, and vibrant city life, Seville is an appealing winter sun destination and opens the door to Andalusia and the Costa de la Luz.
From 7 November, easyJet will also serve London Southend twice a week (Mondays and Fridays), complementing its existing routes to Gatwick and Luton, and offering broader access to London’s east.
Additionally, easyJet is modernising its BER fleet, introducing the Airbus A321neo for the first time. The aircraft features:
-
235 seats (+26% vs A320)
-
20% better fuel efficiency
-
50% quieter operations
A second A321neo will follow in early 2026.
Transavia France: Marrakesh, Agadir, and Nantes Now Year-Round
This winter, Transavia France brings two Moroccan gems to BER:
-
Marrakesh: From Thursday and Sunday, offering exotic flair and royal city charm.
-
Agadir: From 30 October, served Thursday and Saturday, ideal for beach lovers and surfers.
Also debuting this winter is Nantes, a popular summer route extended into the colder months. Flights will operate twice weekly (Mon/Fri), inviting visitors to enjoy Loire River walks, festive markets, and French winter charm.
The airline also continues to fly multiple daily services to Paris-Orly, ensuring strong domestic and European connections.
Wizz Air: New Routes and Increased Frequencies
Wizz Air is ramping up service at BER with a new Bucharest route, operating up to five times weekly. The route uses A321neo aircraft and offers quick, two-hour access to Romania's cultural and economic heart.
Other frequency boosts include:
-
Varna (Bulgaria): 4x weekly (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun)
-
Chişinău (Moldova): 4x weekly, increasing to 5x from 16 December
-
Tirana (Albania): 6–7x weekly
