Air China has launched a new daily direct service between Milano Malpensa Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport, making Malpensa the first airport in Italy to offer a direct connection to the state-of-the-art facility on the outskirts of the Chinese capital.

The inaugural ceremony took place at Terminal 1 of Milano Malpensa Airport and was attended by Li Duo, General Manager of Air China, Cheng Xuan, President of CCCIT, and Zhang Chenggang, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Milan.

The new route is operated daily using an Airbus A330-300 and brings Air China’s total network from Malpensa to four Chinese destinations, alongside its existing services to Beijing Capital, Shanghai, and Chengdu.

The launch strengthens air connectivity between Italy and China at a time of growing interest in expanding economic, commercial, and tourism ties between the two countries. For Milano Malpensa, the addition reinforces its position as Northern Italy’s primary international gateway and a key hub for intercontinental traffic.
