Korean Air to resume operations to Rome and Barcelona for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The move comes after the company also decided to reopen routes to Milan and Vienna this year’s July, following halt of operations since March 2020.
Jumin Kim, Korean Air’s western Europe general manager and director, commented:
“The European market is recovering faster than expected, and we are seeing a strong comeback in travel demand.
“We have recently resumed our Milan and Vienna routes and increased capacity on other routes. We will continue to closely monitor market trends and reinstate our remaining network accordingly as we work towards full recovery.”
Flights from Incheon to Rome Fiumicino will restart on 1 September and will be available for passengers each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Incheon to Barcelona route will reopen on 2 September, with flights every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
