The partnership is set to boost customer experience as well as all internal company procedures. Moreover, American Airlines and Microsoft will use machine learning protocols and data analytics to improve operations at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, this way saving time and considerable jet fuel.

American Airlines’ Chief Information Officer Maya Leibman commented on the new deal:

“Reliably operating thousands of flights around the world to take customers to hundreds of destinations is critical to American, which is why the airline has chosen Microsoft’s technology to support our applications.

“With the power of Microsoft Azure, American can innovate and accelerate its technology transformation, giving our team members augmented tools to provide our customers an enhanced travel experience”.

Employees will also be able to enjoy the ConnectMe app improving workloads and connecting team members. All of the company’s data will progressively migrate in the Operations Hub on Azure, as part of American’s cloud business strategy.
