The company headquartered in Germany has registered a 43 per cent increase when compared to the pre-pandemic period, while contrasting with the rest of the car rental industry ventures. During 2019, Sixt reported a €308 million in revenue.
Currently, according to recent statements from Sixt representatives, the business estimates total earnings of €442 million before taxes for last year.
Alexander Sixt, the company’s co-chief executive, commented:
“The results of the past year are outstanding, and all the more so because we had an exceptional market environment overall due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
“Sixt is growing because we have continued to drive our internationalisation strategy while keeping our costs under control.
“This adaptability is also the cornerstone for sustainable, profitable growth in the future.
“Given this setting, we are well prepared for 2022 and currently expect an increase in revenue compared to 2021.”
Strong growth in the EU and internationalisation across the US are considered to be the main profit sources for 2021, despite Covid-19 pandemic.
The company’s consolidated revenue also increased by 49 per cent to a total of €2.3 billion.
