Norwegian will launch a new direct route between Helsinki and Tromsø, Norway, starting November 18, 2026, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the winter season until mid-March.
The route adds a new connection between two Nordic winter destinations and reinforces Helsinki Airport’s role as an international transfer hub. According to Norwegian, Tromsø has been attracting growing numbers of visitors, particularly from Asia and North America, many of whom rely on Helsinki Airport as a connecting point for onward travel across Northern Europe.
The direct service is also expected to benefit travelers in both directions, supporting regional businesses and Finnish winter sports enthusiasts seeking easier access to Tromsø, a popular gateway to Arctic Norway.
Flight tickets and further details are available through Norwegian’s website.
