Construction Works Affecting S9 and S45 Lines Until November 2024
Travelers heading to and from Berlin Airport (BER) should be aware of ongoing construction works impacting the S-Bahn lines S9 and S45. These lines will not operate continuously until November 8, 2024, at 1:30 AM.
Replacement Transportation Options
During this period, replacement bus services will be in effect:
- S9X: An express bus service.
- S9A: A local bus service with stops at all stations until Schönefeld, then proceeding directly to BER.
Replacement buses will depart from bus stops B15-B17 (Bus stop B) at the airport.
Alternative Travel Recommendations
Passengers are encouraged to utilize alternative transportation options during the disruption, including:
- FEX (Airport Express)
- Regional trains
Additionally, the FEX will also make stops at Schöneweide station throughout the construction period.
