Iberia Enhances U.S. Travel Experience with TSA PreCheck Enrollment

Iberia passengers can now enjoy expedited security screening at U.S. airports by joining the TSA PreCheck program, streamlining their airport experience with shorter wait times.
Iberia has officially become a participant in the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) PreCheck program, offering passengers flying from the United States a more efficient and faster airport security screening process. Starting today, travelers on Iberia flights will have the opportunity to utilize TSA PreCheck benefits, including not having to remove shoes, belts, or jackets, and keeping liquids and electronics in their carry-on luggage during security checks.
The TSA PreCheck program is renowned for significantly reducing wait times at security checkpoints, with TSA data revealing that 99% of PreCheck passengers experience an average wait time of less than ten minutes. This addition aligns with Iberia's commitment to providing a superior and hassle-free travel experience to passengers.
How to Join TSA PreCheck:
Travelers interested in joining TSA PreCheck can begin the process at tsa.gov/precheck. The application process involves selecting an enrollment provider, completing an online application in approximately five minutes, and visiting an enrollment center for finalization. Once approved, travelers receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN), which can be added to airline reservations for access to PreCheck benefits.
In addition to TSA PreCheck, travelers may also consider other Department of Homeland Security Trusted Traveler Programs like Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI for expedited entry into the U.S. from international locations. Information on these programs can be found at ttp.dhs.gov.
Iberia's U.S. Flight Expansion:
As part of its summer season strategy, Iberia is reinforcing its presence in the U.S. market with 140 weekly flights to nine destinations, including two daily flights to New York and Miami, and daily flights to Chicago, Boston, and Dallas Fort Worth. The airline is also increasing frequencies to Los Angeles, offering daily flights during peak summer months, and resuming seasonal routes to Washington and San Francisco.
