Eurowings to Launch Scheduled Flights from Stuttgart to Rovaniemi

New Route Enhances Connectivity Between Germany and Finland

Eurowings, a member of the Lufthansa Group, is set to commence scheduled flights from Stuttgart, Germany, to Rovaniemi Airport in Finland starting January 2025. This new route will operate twice a week during the winter season, offering travelers convenient access to the Arctic Circle.

Flight Schedule and Details

Winter Schedule

  • Sundays: From January 19, 2025, to March 2, 2025
  • Tuesdays: From January 21, 2025, to February 18, 2025

The route will be serviced by 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. Detailed flight schedules and ticket information are available on the Eurowings website.

“The route opening is fantastic news and a great addition to Eurowings’ comprehensive route offering,” stated Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President of Finavia. He emphasized the importance of regular scheduled flights for Finland’s accessibility and the continuous efforts by Finavia and its partners to develop these routes.

Eurowings’ Winter Route Expansion

In addition to the Stuttgart-Rovaniemi route, Eurowings will also operate new winter routes from Hamburg to Rovaniemi and Kittilä. Other routes include flights from Düsseldorf to Kajaani, Ivalo, Kittilä, Kuusamo, and Rovaniemi, as well as from Berlin to Rovaniemi and Helsinki Airport.
