Aer Lingus expanded its 2024/2025 winter schedule with additional “winter sun” services and increased capacity on several leisure routes, responding to strong seasonal demand from Irish travelers. The airline confirmed new flights to popular warm-weather destinations, including enhanced frequencies to the Canary Islands and southern Europe.
For the upcoming winter season, Aer Lingus added more flights to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Faro, while also strengthening its Malaga and Alicante schedules. The carrier noted that customer interest in off‑season leisure travel continues to rise, prompting a strategic increase in seat availability across its short-haul network.
Aer Lingus also announced capacity boosts on select transatlantic routes for winter 2024, supporting both holiday travel and year-round connectivity between Ireland and major U.S. cities. The airline stated that the expanded program aligns with its broader network recovery strategy, offering travelers more flexibility and improved access to sunshine destinations during the colder months.
