Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its presence in Denmark with the opening of Hoje Taastrup Hotel Copenhagen West, a member of Radisson Individuals, marking the brand’s first property in the country.
The 165-room lifestyle upscale hotel is located in Høje-Taastrup, west of central Copenhagen, with direct rail connections to the Danish capital and access to several of Greater Copenhagen’s main business districts.
The property officially opened under the Radisson Individuals brand on August 4, 2026.
Radisson Individuals enters the Danish market
The addition represents another step in the European expansion of Radisson Individuals, a brand designed to bring independently operated hotels into the Radisson Hotel Group portfolio while allowing properties to retain their individual identity.

Hoje Taastrup Hotel Copenhagen West is operated by CIC Hospitality.

165 rooms near Høje Taastrup Station
The hotel offers 165 guestrooms, averaging approximately 24 square metres.
Accommodation ranges from Single, Cozy, Standard and Superior Rooms to Premium and Family Rooms. The largest Family Rooms offer approximately 35 square metres of space.
One of the property’s main advantages is its proximity to Høje Taastrup Station, a major transport hub serving the Copenhagen metropolitan area.
Direct trains reach Copenhagen Central Station in approximately 18 minutes, while Copenhagen Airport is 27.6 kilometres from the hotel. The airport journey takes around 25 minutes by car or approximately 40 minutes by rail.
City2 Shopping Centre is around a five-minute walk away, while Hedeland Nature Park can be reached in approximately 10 minutes by car.
Roskilde Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also accessible from the hotel, with the train journey taking approximately 15 minutes.
Conference facilities for up to 460 guests
Meetings and events are a major part of the hotel’s offering.
Hoje Taastrup Hotel Copenhagen West features 724 square metres of flexible event space, spread across multiple meeting and conference rooms.
The largest configuration can accommodate up to 460 attendees, positioning the property as a venue for conferences, corporate events, training sessions and social gatherings in the Greater Copenhagen area.
Its location close to the railway station, combined with direct Copenhagen connections and on-site parking, is intended to serve both regional and international delegates.
Dining, fitness and sustainability
The hotel’s ground floor combines its restaurant, lounge, reception and bar into a shared social space that can also accommodate informal meetings and gatherings.
A commercial kitchen supports both everyday food service and catering for larger conferences and events.
Guests also have access to an on-site fitness facility and parking.
The property holds Green Key environmental certification. Sustainability measures include leasing hotel linen rather than purchasing it and reusing or reselling furniture to extend its useful life.
The operator is also piloting daily food waste measurement across its Danish hotels, with the initiative expected to be expanded more widely following the trial.
The opening adds Denmark to the growing network of Radisson Individuals properties and gives Radisson Hotel Group another hotel serving the Greater Copenhagen market, with a particular focus on business travel, meetings and events as well as leisure visitors.
