Air France has introduced its new La Première first class cabin on flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and San Francisco, making the redesigned suites available daily on the route from August 14, 2026.
The new cabin is offered on selected Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and makes San Francisco the latest U.S. destination to receive Air France’s flagship premium product.
During the summer season, Air France operates up to two daily flights between Paris and San Francisco, with the second service operated by an Airbus A350-900.
New Air France La Première Cabin Now Flies Daily to San Francisco
The Boeing 777-300ER service featuring the new La Première cabin operates daily between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
Paris-San Francisco La Première Flight Schedule
The daily schedule, in local time, is:
- AF084: Paris-CDG departure at 10:20 a.m., arriving in San Francisco at 12:50 p.m. the same day

La Première is now offered on Air France services to and from seven U.S. cities: Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
The airline’s newest La Première cabin is currently operating to Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK and San Francisco.
Air France Offers Dedicated La Première Services at San Francisco Airport
Passengers departing from San Francisco receive a dedicated airport experience beginning at check-in.
La Première passengers are welcomed by Air France staff at a dedicated check-in area, with personalised assistance, immediate baggage handling and an escort through security.
They can then access a private area within the Air France lounge, featuring its own dining service and direct access to the lounge bar. When boarding begins, passengers are personally escorted to the aircraft.
Private La Première Experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle
Air France offers an even more extensive private ground experience for La Première passengers at its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.
A porter meets passengers on arrival at the airport and takes care of their baggage before they are escorted to a private check-in lobby where departure formalities are completed.
The same private lobby is available to arriving La Première passengers, who can dine, shower and collect their checked baggage there.
Private Lounge and Porsche Transfers to the Aircraft
La Première passengers also have access to Air France’s dedicated lounge at Paris-CDG, with separate areas for dining, relaxation, wellbeing and work.
When it is time to board, passengers are transferred privately to their aircraft by La Première staff using Porsche Cayenne hybrid vehicles operating in electric mode.
New La Première Suite Features a Separate Seat and Two-Metre Bed
The centrepiece of the redesigned experience is Air France’s new La Première suite.
Each suite extends across five aircraft windows and uses a modular layout featuring both a traditional seat and a separate day bed.
The main seat can be adjusted for takeoff, landing, dining and relaxation, while the day bed opposite provides a separate space for passengers to recline during the flight.
For sleeping, the day bed converts into a two-metre-long fully flat bed.
There are only four La Première suites on board, with each enclosed by a thick floor-to-ceiling mesh curtain to provide additional privacy.
Two 32-Inch 4K Screens in Each Suite
Each La Première suite features two 32-inch anti-glare 4K screens, positioned so passengers can watch entertainment from the seat, day bed or bed.
Air France provides more than 1,500 hours of entertainment, along with noise-cancelling headphones. Bluetooth connectivity also allows passengers to connect their own wireless headphones or earbuds.
Other technology available inside the suite includes:
- 110V and 220V power outlets
- USB-A and USB-C charging ports
- Wireless charging
- Smartphone and tablet holder
- Wireless touchscreen suite controller
The touchscreen tablet can be used to adjust the seat and bed, control lighting and window shades and navigate the inflight entertainment system.
Daniel Boulud Creates La Première Menu From San Francisco
Air France has also developed dedicated menus for La Première passengers travelling between the United States and France.
For departures from San Francisco, French chef Daniel Boulud has created seasonal dishes including truffle-stuffed sole with artichoke purée and mushrooms, and saffron chicken accompanied by olive couscous, turnips and pumpkin.
Boulud’s seasonal signature dishes are available to Air France customers departing from the airline’s U.S. gateways.
Desserts have been developed in partnership with Laurent Le Daniel, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, with options including lime and ginger mousse and chocolate tart.
Anne-Sophie Pic Creates La Première Menu From Paris
On flights departing Paris, La Première passengers are offered a menu created by French chef Anne-Sophie Pic.
The seasonal selection includes dishes such as lobster and crab ravioli with saffron and amaretto cream and smoked aubergine, as well as grilled artichokes with creamy polenta, Comté cheese and smoked vanilla.
Air France is also continuing its partnership with pastry chef Claire Heitzler, whose desserts for flights departing Paris include a dark chocolate fondant and an abricotine made with apricot and almond.
Air France Continues La Première Rollout
The introduction of the new cabin on San Francisco flights forms part of Air France’s wider rollout of its redesigned La Première product.
The airline is installing the suites across additional Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and expanding the number of destinations where the product is available.
The strategy places a strong emphasis on both the onboard suite and the wider end-to-end passenger experience, combining private airport services, lounge access, personalised transfers, premium dining and one of the most spacious first class configurations currently offered by a European airline.
With San Francisco joining Los Angeles, Miami and New York-JFK, Air France is continuing to strengthen the presence of its latest La Première product across its U.S. network.
