LOT Polish Airlines Launches Warsaw–San Francisco Route

LOT Polish Airlines has added San Francisco to its transatlantic network, launching its first-ever direct flight between Warsaw and the US West Coast on May 6, 2026.

The new seasonal service operates up to four times a week aboard a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with the journey taking approximately 11 hours and 30 minutes. Flight LO35 departs Warsaw on Thursdays and Sundays at 11:15, while LO37 operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 17:40. Return flights depart San Francisco at 15:50 and 22:15 on the same days. The service runs through October 22, 2026.

San Francisco becomes LOT’s sixth regular US destination, joining Chicago, New York, Newark, Miami, and Los Angeles. For the airline, the route is more than a new point on the map — it directly connects Warsaw to Silicon Valley and one of the world’s leading technology and innovation hubs, supporting both business travel and tourism between Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, and the US West Coast.

LOT’s Chief Commercial Officer Robert Ludera described the launch as an investment in a route that links business, innovation, and global ambition, noting that the connection will help strengthen economic ties and knowledge exchange between the two regions.

The route also supports LOT’s broader strategy of positioning Warsaw Chopin Airport as a central connecting hub for travellers from Central and Eastern Europe heading to North America.

Tickets are available through LOT.com, the airline’s app, the LOT Contact Center, and LOT Travel offices.
