Wizz Air Launches Berlin to Timișoara Flights Twice Weekly

Destinations & Tourism

Wizz Air has launched twice-weekly flights between Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and Timișoara, Romania, operated every Thursday and Sunday with a flight time of one hour and 45 minutes. Services are flown on A321neo or A320neo aircraft.

The new route makes Timișoara the fourth destination added by Wizz Air from BER in the 2026 summer timetable, following Bratislava, Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Cluj-Napoca. Combined with continued and expanded services on existing routes, Wizz Air now connects Berlin to twelve destinations across Southern and Eastern Europe this summer, with total seat capacity up 90 percent compared to the same period last year.

Frequency increases have been applied across several existing routes: Belgrade grows to five weekly flights, Chișinău expands gradually to seven, and Tirana reaches up to ten weekly departures. Varna will operate daily flights during July, August, and September, supported by additional seating capacity. Daily service to Bucharest continues unchanged from the winter timetable.

The full summer schedule from BER is as follows: Timișoara twice weekly from May 21, Bratislava four times weekly from March 16, Tuzla three times weekly from March 30, Cluj-Napoca three times weekly from March 31, Bucharest daily, Belgrade five times weekly, Chișinău up to seven times weekly, Tirana up to ten times weekly, and Varna daily in peak summer months.
