Turkish Airlines Carried 9.5 Million Passengers in July 2026

Turkish Airlines carried 9.5 million passengers in July 2026, as the airline continued to expand traffic across its domestic and international network.

The carrier reported an international passenger load factor of 86.2% during the month, while its domestic load factor reached 89.1%.

Capacity also increased compared with the previous year. Available seat kilometers (ASK) rose 2.7% year over year to 25.7 billion, compared with 25 billion in July 2025.

Turkish Airlines also recorded growth in its cargo operations. Cargo and mail volumes increased 4.9% compared with July 2025, reaching 203,100 tonnes during the month.

Passenger Traffic Reaches 54 Million in First Seven Months

During the January–July 2026 period, Turkish Airlines carried 54 million passengers, representing an increase of 5.4% compared with the same seven months of 2025.

The airline reported a total passenger load factor of 84.2% during the period. International load factor stood at 84%, while domestic services recorded a load factor of 85.7%.

Capacity continued to grow, with available seat kilometers increasing 4.7% to 161.2 billion, up from 154 billion during the January–July period of 2025.

Cargo and mail traffic recorded stronger growth, increasing 12% year over year to approximately 1.4 million tonnes, compared with 1.2 million tonnes during the same period last year.

Turkish Airlines Fleet Reaches 563 Aircraft

Turkish Airlines reported a fleet of 563 aircraft as of the end of July 2026, supporting the continued expansion of its global network.

The traffic figures are consolidated and include operations from both the Turkish Airlines main brand and AJet.
