The Antipode: Flying from New York to London in 11 minutes

After the  making of Skreem concept , Charles Bombardier amazes with a new invention: an aircraft capable of reaching Mach 24 speed, 12 times faster than Concorde . Although it may carry only ten men, it crosses over 20 000 km in less than 60 minutes. The aircraft  called Antipode has the ability to cross over 12 430 miles (20 000 km) can arrive from London to New York in just 11 minutes.

Such an airplane operates with a magnetic rail system to effectively be catapulted into the air, reaching Mach 10 speed. The aircraft is placed on a parallel rail conductive launching device using a magnetic field that is particularly strong. As a backup system, the aircraft could use some additional rockets which works with liquid oxygen and kerosene, helping the plane  called Antipode to rise as much and achieve Mach 4 speed. In turn, this aircraft engines impressive would it one could propel at speeds ten times faster than sound (12 349 km / h).

Flight problems of this concept are deafening noise which would be sent to the earth and the enormous heat that would be emited at release. This can however be reduced by using a LPM ( "long penetration mode") which will reduce the extremely high temperatures of launch and the shock wave.

For now, the aircraft is designed for military and business environment, being transported in an extremely short time and very far two officials from some states for example .
