Silversea upgrades loyalty program with new tiers
Silversea has announced a major upgrade to its Venetian Society loyalty program, introducing new tiers and expanded benefits aimed at enhancing rewards for its cruise guests.
The updated program, set to launch on July 1, 2026, will offer additional ways for members to earn status and access benefits earlier in their journey. The changes follow guest feedback and are designed to create a more rewarding experience across all membership levels.
Under the revised structure, members will continue to earn one Venetian Society (VS) Day for each day spent on a cruise. From July, guests will also earn VS Days for time spent on land programs and city stays, as well as bonus days for qualifying solo travelers.
Two new milestones will be introduced at 15 and 50 VS Days, providing earlier recognition for newer members. Benefits at these levels include a welcome offer and shipboard credit for future bookings. Higher tiers will also see enhancements, with perks such as complimentary premium Wi-Fi, priority embarkation and additional onboard services.
Some booking-related benefits for the new tiers will be available immediately for eligible members, while onboard perks will apply to sailings departing from July.
Silversea is also expanding its loyalty integration across the Royal Caribbean Group, allowing members to match their status across Silversea, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean. This approach aims to give travelers greater flexibility in how they earn and use loyalty rewards across the group’s brands.
The company said the updated program is designed to strengthen guest engagement and reinforce its position in the competitive luxury cruise market.
