Oceania Marina to undergo major refurbishment

Oceania Cruises has announced a comprehensive refurbishment of its ship Oceania Marina, with the transformation scheduled to begin in October 2026.

 

The 1,250-guest vessel will undergo a full redesign, including upgrades to all staterooms and significant enhancements across public areas. The project marks the first phase of the company’s OceaniaNEXT program, a broader initiative aimed at elevating the onboard experience across its fleet.

All cabins will be redesigned with new layouts, updated furnishings and renovated bathrooms featuring marble finishes and larger showers. Premium suites will also be refreshed to align with recent upgrades across the fleet.

Public spaces such as bars and lounges will receive updated interiors, new lighting and redesigned layouts. A new lounge concept, the Founders Bar, will be introduced, while the Grand Lounge will be expanded. Culinary offerings will also be enhanced, including the addition of a Chef’s Studio for cooking experiences and an upgraded onboard café featuring fresh pastries.

Signature restaurants, including Polo Grill, Red Ginger, Toscana and Jacques, will be updated with both design improvements and new kitchen equipment, reinforcing the brand’s focus on high-end dining.

The refurbishment is intended to align Oceania Marina with the design and standards of the company’s upcoming new ships, while maintaining its core identity centered on cuisine, destination-focused travel and personalized service.

Oceania Cruises said the project reflects its ongoing strategy to refine luxury travel experiences and modernize its fleet without losing the brand’s established character.
