InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort to Host Inaugural World Spa Awards

 

World Spa Awards has announced InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort will host its first World Spa Awards ceremony.

The hotel, which is one of Vietnam's finest, will welcome leaders of the global spa industry on September 14th, 2015.

Located in the hills of Monkey Mountain in the Son Tra Peninsula nature reserve, the five-star InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is a splendid piece of architecture.

The location is the ideal host for the inaugural World Spa Awards as it won the World's Leading Luxury Resort title at last year's World Travel Awards.

The 197-room resort is set in 39 hectares of stepped gardens that lead to a private beach where guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the cascading hills surrounding the property.

The resort is the creation of architect Bill Bensley, and it harmoniously combines modern luxury and traditional authenticity.

From 2007–2014 the spa industry increased its business by 58 per cent, generating a total revenue of more than $94 billion.
