New Unified Cabin Options Announced by Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines for 2026 Travel Integration

Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are aligning their cabin experiences as part of their integration, introducing a simplified range of seating options across both fleets for travel from April 2026.
With the full integration of Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines' booking systems set for spring 2026, travelers booking flights for April 22, 2026 and beyond will begin to see unified cabin and seat names — ensuring a consistent experience no matter which brand they fly.
Seamless Booking, Familiar Service
This strategic alignment aims to offer greater clarity and flexibility, blending both airlines’ strengths. From signature fruit and cheese platters to POG juice welcomes, travelers can now choose from a harmonized set of cabins tailored to every travel style and budget.
Cabin Options Across the Combined Fleet First Class and Business Lie-Flat
Available on long-haul international routes using Boeing 787 Dreamliners (Alaska) and Airbus A330s (Hawaiian), these cabins feature lie-flat seating, direct aisle access, high-definition entertainment, and wireless charging. Passengers also receive access to Alaska Lounges, The Plumeria Lounge, and oneworld partner lounges.
First Class
On narrowbody aircraft (Alaska’s 737s/E175s and Hawaiian’s A321s/717s), First Class offers spacious seats, complimentary meals, two free checked bags, priority boarding, and lounge access on select long flights.
Premium Class (Previously Extra Comfort)
Hawaiian’s popular Extra Comfort seats are being rebranded as Premium Class. These seats offer up to 4” more legroom and now include complimentary alcoholic beverages. Available across both fleets.
Main Cabin Preferred
For those wanting to exit the plane quickly, Main Cabin Preferred seats are located toward the front of the aircraft and offer flexible, convenient boarding and deplaning.
Main Cabin
The standard economy option includes free seat selection, a carry-on bag, and Atmos Rewards points. It offers a consistent, comfortable experience across both airlines.
Saver Fare
Hawaiian’s Main Cabin Basic will be renamed Saver Fare, matching Alaska’s existing lowest-fare product. These fares include a carry-on, with seat selection within 24 hours of departure and a 50% travel credit for cancellations 14+ days out.
Pricing Per Seat & More Flexibility
As part of the update, Alaska is introducing a pricing-per-seat tool, allowing customers to choose seats based on budget and preference — an option already familiar to Hawaiian Airlines flyers.
This dynamic pricing model gives more power to travelers: pick a window, aisle, or even a center seat based on your priorities and budget.
When to Expect the Changes
The new cabin options and pricing tools will begin appearing on alaskaair.com and hawaiianairlines.com starting October 14, for travel departing April 22, 2026 and beyond.
