FlyOne Armenia launches Vienna–Yerevan route
Vienna Airport has welcomed a new airline as FlyOne Armenia officially launched direct flights between Vienna and Yerevan on April 3, 2026.
The new connection expands travel options between Austria and the Caucasus region, offering passengers easier access to Armenia’s capital, a destination known for its rich history, cultural landmarks and growing tourism appeal.
Initially, the route operates once per week, with plans to increase frequency to three weekly flights starting June 2026. The service is operated using an Airbus A320 aircraft.
The schedule includes an afternoon departure from Yerevan with arrival in Vienna in the early evening, followed by a return evening flight back to Armenia.
The addition of FlyOne Armenia strengthens Vienna Airport’s position as a key hub in Central Europe, with expectations of increased tourism and business travel between the two regions. With the expanded schedule, up to 10 weekly connections between Vienna and Yerevan will be available across different airlines.
Yerevan continues to attract international visitors with its blend of historic architecture, vibrant cultural life and proximity to the scenic landscapes of the Caucasus, including mountains, monasteries and UNESCO-listed sites.
The new route highlights growing demand for connections between Europe and emerging destinations in the region.
