FlixBus Expands Berlin Airport Links Across Eastern Germany and Poland
FlixBus is significantly expanding its network at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) for 2026, adding new routes and increased frequencies connecting the airport to a wider range of cities across eastern Germany and Poland.
In eastern Germany, Leipzig sees the most significant upgrade, with daily trips in each direction rising from four to up to nine, with the fastest journeys taking just over two hours. Additional services are being added to Schwerin, Jena, and Chemnitz, while Görlitz and Zittau gain their first direct BER connections. The Erzgebirge region also gets its first daily direct link, with Oberwiesenthal and Annaberg-Buchholz now connected to the airport. A seasonal route running in July and August will additionally serve Baltic Sea destinations including Warnemünde, Bad Doberan, and Kühlungsborn.
Polish connections are also being reinforced. Poznań is served by up to 15 daily trips in each direction with an average travel time of three hours and 20 minutes. Wrocław offers up to 13 daily connections averaging around four hours, while Szczecin reaches BER in approximately two and a half hours via up to 12 daily services.
BER ranked among the ten busiest stops in the German FlixBus network by passenger volume in 2025, making it the most popular German airport on the FlixBus network. During peak season this year, up to 155 buses will stop at BER daily, connecting around 90 German and 60 Polish cities directly without transfers.
