
Dubai Airports unveils QR-based pickup system at DXB T3

Dubai Airports has introduced DXB Greet & Go, a new QR code-enabled pickup system at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3, aimed at streamlining the guest arrival experience. The service replaces traditional guest paging with a modern, tech-driven alternative tailored for guests arriving with pre-booked hotel, limousine, or tour operator arrangements.
Passengers using the service receive a personalised QR code from their hotel or service provider before arriving. Upon landing, they simply scan the code at a designated kiosk in the Arrivals area, instantly receiving details about their driver, vehicle, and parking location. Multilingual airport staff are on hand to guide guests directly to their assigned pickup.
“DXB Greet & Go is part of our continued efforts to make every step of the journey at DXB more efficient and enjoyable,” said Essa Al Shamsi, Senior VP of Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports. “It enhances operational flow while offering a smarter, more personalised guest experience.”
Designed for efficiency, security, and ease
The system aims to reduce congestion and confusion at busy arrival gates by offering a centralised, secure meeting point. It is aligned with DXB’s service and safety protocols and supports a more professional first impression for visiting guests.
Available to licensed hotels, limo services, and tour operators, the platform allows providers to register drivers and vehicles through the DXB Greet & Go portal, generating unique QR codes for travelers. Staff on-site assist in verifying guests and facilitating smooth transitions from baggage claim to vehicle.
This initiative reflects DXB’s broader strategy of integrating smart services to elevate the airport experience for both travelers and service providers.
