Changi Airport & Jewel Celebrate Lunar New Year Festivities
Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport are rolling out an extensive programme of Lunar New Year 2026 festivities to welcome passengers and visitors during the Year of the Horse season.
Throughout the Lunar New Year period, Changi and Jewel will offer a variety of cultural displays, performances and promotions designed to enhance the travel experience and celebrate the festive season. Festive decorations and installations have been set up across the airport and Jewel, creating a vibrant atmosphere for travellers passing through or visiting the complex.
Among the highlights are traditional lion dance and LED dragon dance performances scheduled at Jewel’s Forest Valley from 16 to 18 February, adding a lively cultural touch to the celebrations. Jewel’s Rain Vortex and Light & Music Showcase will also operate extended hours throughout the period, and early diners and shoppers can enjoy dedicated promotions and extended opening times.
Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport are also offering shopping and dining deals, with festive bundles and exclusive offers at stores and restaurants. Visitors can take part in interactive experiences such as festive bazaars, workshops, and prize-based promotions that combine traditional Lunar New Year symbols with modern airport entertainment.
In response to increased travel demand during the holiday season, airport services such as extended lounge operations and enhanced passenger amenities are available to support travellers passing through Singapore’s international gateway.
The Lunar New Year celebrations at Changi and Jewel reflect a broader trend of festive programming at the airport, turning the travel hub into a cultural destination for both transit passengers and local visitors throughout the season.
