Customers of the Europe's leading airline can now use the iOS app to book their tickets
By using Apple Pay, easyJet customers can now book and pay for their their flights in just a matter of seconds thanks to the secure and fast one-touch payment feature of the app.
The mobile application uses fingerprint recognition and authorization systems when applying a payment via Apple Pay, this way enhancing transfer security.
“We’re delighted that from today we’re one of the first European airlines to introduce Apple Pay.
“Gone are the days of scrambling around searching for a bank card to book a flight.
“Checking out on our app is as easy as selecting Apple Pay and placing your finger on Touch ID,” James Millett, company's head of digital declared.
The Apple Pay booking system is also complimented by the easyJet Apple Watch app which proved to be very efficient in helping passengers boarding and claiming their luggages.
“Booking flights or adding extras has never been so easy”, Millet added, while underlining that comprehensive digital travel apps are the future of worldwide tourism.
