SAS and Garuda Indonesia Launch Codeshare Partnership
SAS and Garuda Indonesia have signed a codeshare partnership aimed at improving connectivity between Scandinavia and Indonesia, with tickets available for purchase from June 9 and first travel dates from June 15, 2026.
The agreement was signed during the IATA Annual General Meeting in Rio de Janeiro by SAS President and CEO Anko van der Werff and Garuda Indonesia Director of Transformation Neil Raymond Mills. Both carriers are SkyTeam members, and the partnership reflects their shared goal of strengthening Europe–Southeast Asia connectivity.
Under the arrangement, passengers can travel seamlessly between Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo and Indonesian destinations Jakarta and Bali, with connections routed via Amsterdam and Tokyo Haneda. Bangkok will be added as an additional connection point from the winter 2026/2027 season.
Frequent flyer members on both sides benefit from the deal, with EuroBonus and GarudaMiles members able to earn and redeem points across the combined network.
"By bringing our networks closer together, we are creating more opportunities to connect Scandinavia with one of Asia's most dynamic markets," said Van der Werff.
