Azamara Cruises has announced its 2027 Overland Experiences collection, featuring 18 curated multi-day land journeys across seven countries, designed to give cruise guests the opportunity to explore destinations beyond the reach of their ship before rejoining at a later port.
Each experience is fully coordinated by Azamara and includes premium accommodations, transportation, guided touring, and select meals. Where required, flights between overland destinations and the rejoining port are also included, creating a fully managed extension to the cruise itinerary.
Among the highlights is a three-day Bora Bora overwater bungalow stay at Hotel Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts, available to guests on the 18-night Pacific Islands cruise departing January 5, 2027. A five-day Laos and Vietnam expedition departing March 14, 2027 takes in Vientiane, Luang Prabang, and Hanoi as part of the 19-night Southeast Asia cruise. Guests on the 14-night East Asia cruise departing April 2, 2027 can opt for a five-day overland adventure through China, visiting the Terracotta Warriors, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven.
“From the temples in Angkor Wat to the iconic lagoons of Bora Bora, these immersive experiences go beyond the traditional port visits to allow deeper exploration into the heart of the countries,” said Shandra Stoeterau, Director of Land Product Development at Azamara Cruises.
Overland Experiences are available on select 2027 sailings and can be booked through travel advisors or at azamara.com. Availability is limited.
