Venchi Opens First UK Airport Store at Gatwick

Italian premium chocolatier and gelato brand Venchi has opened its first-ever UK airport store at London Gatwick, bringing a taste of Italy to passengers travelling through the airport.

 

The new boutique, located airside in the North Terminal departure lounge, officially opened on 11 December, just ahead of the busy Christmas travel period. Founded in 1878, Venchi is known for combining more than 145 years of chocolate-making expertise with high-quality, all-natural ingredients.

Passengers can choose from over 20 flavours of authentic Italian gelato, freshly prepared daily in the store’s own gelato lab, alongside rich hot chocolate, gelato shakes and gourmet coffee.

The store features Venchi’s signature chocolate bar wall, artisanal Brutto & Buono slabs and a wide range of seasonal gift collections. Travellers can also create their own personalised selection at the My Venchi Mix station, choosing from more than 40 premium chocolate varieties, including Chocoviar, Gianduiotto and Cremino.

Venchi’s arrival follows Gatwick’s continued expansion of its retail offer, including the recent launch of Discover London, a premium souvenir and gifting store.
