Lufthansa Adds 11 New Allegris Routes for Winter 2026/27
Lufthansa is significantly expanding its Allegris premium cabin network for the 2026/27 winter schedule, adding eleven new long-haul destinations where passengers across all classes will experience the carrier's next-generation seating, materials, and in-flight service.
From Frankfurt, new Allegris destinations include Kuala Lumpur (from October 25, five times weekly on Boeing 787-9), Vancouver, Houston, Denver, Atlanta, Detroit, San José (Costa Rica), and Seoul. From Munich, the cabin rolls out to Singapore from late October, Washington DC from March 2027, and Cape Town. Lufthansa is also increasing frequencies on high-demand routes from both hubs, including Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Lagos, Hyderabad, São Paulo, Mexico City, and Johannesburg.
Across the broader Lufthansa Group, the winter schedule brings a wave of new routes. SWISS adds Bengaluru as its first southern India destination and introduces its new SWISS Senses long-haul experience on Airbus A350 aircraft to Johannesburg and Shanghai. ITA Airways launches its first Central American route with seasonal service from Rome Fiumicino to Santo Domingo, alongside previously announced new services to Houston and London Heathrow. Brussels Airlines extends its Brussels–Kilimanjaro route into winter due to strong demand, operating once weekly from late October and twice weekly from mid-December.
Discover Airlines is adding two new Moroccan destinations — Agadir from Frankfurt and Fès from Munich — as well as inaugural winter flights from Munich to Ivalo in Finnish Lapland. Edelweiss is expanding Scandinavia capacity and extending its Luleå season, while also increasing seats to the Canary Islands, Faro, Bilbao, Seville, and Mallorca. Eurowings is adding Kuusamo in Finnish Lapland from Berlin, launching Berlin–Rome on November 2, and introducing Berlin–London Heathrow for winter, while making Düsseldorf–Madrid a year-round route.
