The Good Food & Wine Show in Cape Town Made More Accessible With Affordable Packages

The annual Good Food and Wine Show takes place at the CTICC from 24 – 27 May 2012. This year, Cape Town Tourism has partnered with several industry players to make it easier and more affordable for foodie enthusiasts to get in on the action in Cape Town with holiday packages for a number of traveller profiles.
The Good Food and Wine Show is South Africa’s annual leading food, wine and lifestyle event, consistently providing informative talks by some of the world’s greatest chefs and food afficianados, as well as a food and beverage focused exhibition and workshops.
Often touted as the gourmet capital of South Africa, Cape Town is a foodie mecca this May. Cape Town Tourism, in association with the Good Food and Wine Show’s organisers, Mango Airlines and Thompsons, are offering a three-day Thompsons Holiday package, including return flights to Cape Town on Mango Airlines, airport taxes, Avis car hire, three nights’ accommodation and entrance to the Good Food and Wine Show.
For Passionate Foodies there is a four star package with the Protea Hotel Victoria Junction from R2,752.00 per person, a three star package at the Garden Court Eastern Boulevard from R2,699.00 per person, and a four star stay at The Cullinan Southern Sun from R3,390.00 per person. A five star package is available for the Twelve Apostles Hotel from R5,483.00 per person.
