Announcements
There's only a month to go to get YOUR BIGGEST BADDEST BUCKETLIST entry in!
It's almost the final countdown for travel enthusiasts who still need to get their entries in to win a six month all-inclusive trip around the world. The Biggest, Baddest Bucketlist competition, hosted by My Destination.com,
kicked off in January and participants have been submitting their three-minute video, travel tale and photos since then.
"The competition closes at the end of March so there's only a limited time left for submissions," says Maropeng marketing and communications manager Lindsay Marshall.
Maropeng is listed among the suggested worldwide destinations part of the competition, and has been chosen as one of only two Johannesburg destinations listed in the competition.

"We are proud to be associated with this global competition as it reinforces Maropeng's uniqueness and highlights it as a destination in Johannesburg. This is a fantastic opportunity for a traveller to see the world. So get
your entries in," she urges.
The winner of the competition will begin their travels in June 2013 and will end in December 2013 after a six-month, all-expenses-paid trip to six continents and any destinations of their choice. To cap it all, there's a further US$50 000 (about R450 000) in prize money to be collected at the end of the trip.
Maropeng is also throwing in another chance to win. "In order to claim the local prize, Maropeng should be featured as the most popular entry and favoured destination in Johannesburg. If your video is selected as a finalist with Maropeng as your chosen location, you win an extra prize," explains Marshall.
Entries close on the 31 March so log onto www.mydestination.co.za, click on the Biggest Baddest Bucketlist icon and green "Enter Now" tab to register.
