The 2016 Global Aerospace Summit supported by Abu Dhabi
The next year’s Global Aerospace Summit will be officially supported by Abu Dhabi Airports and Etihad Airways, the UAE's national airline
The next year's expected event will welcome more than 1.000 aviation, aerospace and space experts from several international delegations to discuss sectors' innovations.
The two day Summit will be hosted by Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center on March 7th and March 8th. The main theme will be ’Innovation’. The event will also cover special sessions dedicated to the expanding of aviation sectors in Africa and Saudi Arabia.
As Abu Dhabi Airports will be one of the summit's partner, chairman Ali Majed Al Mansoori commented:
“Abu Dhabi Airports is proud to be a partner for the Global Aerospace Summit 2016 and is committed to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global aviation leader.
“We are privileged to be a part of this one of a kind think-tank platform and look forward to demonstrating the excellent progress we have made in developing the aviation sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.”
On the other hand, Etihad Airways, the UAE's national airline, is also the Summit’s official airline.
Airline's President James Hogan declared on the occasion:
“Etihad Airways is proud of the role it has played in Abu Dhabi’s growing aviation and aerospace sector.
“Innovation is a significant part of our business and we are very pleased that it is the central theme of the Summit. We are happy to lend our support to the Summit.”
The 1.000 delegates were picked to attend the 2016 Global Aerospace Summit by invitation only. Among them there will be present Forbes’ world’s most powerful women - Marillyn Hewson, head of Lockheed Martin's global security and aerospace.
The experts' participation is considered to improve the industry's standards, create new profitable partnerships and also new jobs for highly skilled professionals.
