Taj Cape Town - the official hotel sponsor of the Good Food & Wine Show.
The Taj Cape Town team looks forward to not only celebrating one of Cape Town’s premier food and wine exhibitions but to hosting Gordon Ramsay, Eric Lanlard, Bill Granger and The Bliss Sisters, as they have recently been announced the preferred hotel sponsor for the Celebrity Chefs attending the Good Food & Wine Show from 23rd – 26th May 2013.
“The Good Food & Wine show is one of the finest gourmet events in the world and is an annual highlight on the Cape Culinary calendar,” says Willie Williams, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Taj Cape Town. “Food and wine are one of our many passions and we are extremely proud to be associated with one of South Africa’s premier food and wine exhibitions,” says Williams.
The Chefs will no doubt enjoy service excellence in a luxury base that is sophisticated and secure, one surrounded by a rich local and cultural heritage. After putting down their Chef hats for the day, a myriad of in-house services and amenities will be available to the Chefs ensuring that they are refreshed and ready to push the foodie boundaries the next day.
The Taj Cape Town is within walking distance of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) where the show will be hosted. “All Chefs will be on tight schedules and the fact that the Taj is located just seven minutes away from the CTICC is a huge value add,” says Christine Cashmore, CEO of Fiera Milano Exhibitions Africa and one of the founders of Gourmet SA.
