Aegean Adds New UK Routes to its Summer 2015 Schedule

AEGEAN is to launch a new direct service from UK to Heraklion, Crete and Larnaca, Cyprus. The flights to Heraklion will take off from Gatwick airport starting on June 21st, 2015, while the services to Larnaca will depart starting with March 29th, 2015, from Heathrow airport.
AEGEAN, a Star Alliance member and Greece's largest airline, will also restart its summer flights to Athens from Birmingham and make an "all year" round service out of the once seasonal flights from Manchester to Athens.
The services will be made by one of Europe's youngest fleets, consisting of 56 aircraft, after AEGEAN recently purchased new Airbus A320ceos.
The company's new schedule reveals it now has 134 destinations, out of which 100 are international, in 42 countries, and 34 are domestic. This means now 15 million seats will be available, two million more than in 2014.
AEGEAN offers both business class and economy travel from its new UK to Heraklion and Larnaca from Gatwick and Heathrow respectively. AEGEAN customers will receive complimentary food and drinks on board, so their holiday will start as soon as they step on board.
