JetBlue expands Fort Lauderdale network with new Cleveland route

JetBlue is expanding its operations at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with a new route to Cleveland and increased frequencies across several existing destinations.

 

The airline will launch daily service between Fort Lauderdale and Cleveland starting July 8, 2026, further enhancing connectivity between South Florida and the Midwest.

In addition to the new route, JetBlue is increasing flights on nine existing routes, including major cities such as Atlanta, Newark, Las Vegas and Philadelphia, as well as popular leisure destinations like Aruba, Santo Domingo and St. Maarten.

The expansion follows a year of significant growth at Fort Lauderdale, where JetBlue has added service to 21 cities and increased daily departures by nearly 32 flights. The airline remains the largest carrier at the airport, operating more departures than any competitor.

The updated schedule includes increased daily frequencies on key domestic routes, while international and Caribbean services are also being expanded to meet strong leisure demand.

Passengers flying with JetBlue from Fort Lauderdale will continue to benefit from the airline’s onboard offering, including free Wi-Fi, seatback entertainment and complimentary snacks and drinks.

To support the launch, JetBlue is offering a limited-time promotion, with TrueBlue members able to earn bonus points when booking the new Cleveland route.

The expansion reinforces JetBlue’s strategy to strengthen its network in key focus cities by adding both new destinations and additional capacity where demand is strongest.
