ITA Airways adds extra Rome–Delhi flights to assist stranded Italians
ITA Airways has scheduled additional flights between Rome Fiumicino and Delhi to support the return of Italian nationals impacted by ongoing disruptions linked to the conflict in the Middle East.
The airline will operate two extra outbound flights from Rome on 24 and 25 March, departing in the late afternoon and arriving in Delhi early the following morning.
Return services from Delhi to Rome are scheduled for 25 and 26 March, providing additional capacity for passengers seeking to travel back to Italy.
The move comes after coordination with Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which reported a significant number of Italian citizens temporarily stranded in India due to airspace and airport disruptions in the region.
Tickets for the additional flights are available through ITA Airways’ official channels, including its website and mobile app.
The airline said it continues to monitor the evolving geopolitical situation and is assessing further measures to support affected passengers, while maintaining its regular services to Asia where possible.
