Hotel Solaya opens in Scottsdale under Hyatt
A newly reimagined hotel has opened in Old Town Scottsdale, as Hotel Solaya joins the JdV by Hyatt portfolio following a major transformation.
The property features 194 redesigned rooms and suites, alongside updated public spaces, dining venues, and a pool area designed to reflect the social energy of the surrounding neighborhood. Positioned near Scottsdale’s main dining and cultural attractions, the hotel aims to attract both local visitors and international travelers.
Hotel Solaya introduces a design concept inspired by the Sonoran Desert, blending modern Mexican influences with contemporary architecture. The interiors emphasize natural light, layered textures and an open, social atmosphere intended to create a relaxed yet upscale environment.
Dining is a key part of the offering, with multiple concepts on site. Ella on the Park, set to open later this spring, will provide a modern American dining experience overlooking Civic Center Park, while Common Ground Bistro offers a more casual setting for coffee, breakfast and light meals throughout the day.
The hotel’s outdoor pool area is designed as a central social hub, featuring cabanas, lounge seating and bar service aimed at both guests and local visitors.
In addition to leisure facilities, the property includes seven event spaces for meetings, weddings and other gatherings, including a large outdoor lawn and a flexible indoor ballroom.
Hotel management said the opening represents a new chapter for hospitality in Scottsdale, combining design, dining and social experiences in a single destination.
