Explora Journeys partners with renowned French Chef Claude Le Tohic for an exclusive culinary experience aboard the luxury cruise ship Explora I. Guests can enjoy sophisticated dining from March to June 2024 in the Anthology restaurant.
Explora Journeys, a luxury cruise line under the MSC Group umbrella, is elevating its onboard culinary offerings by partnering with the distinguished French Chef Claude Le Tohic. This collaboration marks an exciting chapter for the cruise line, as Le Tohic is set to join the luxury vessel Explora I for a three-month tenure, from March to June 2024. The partnership is part of Explora Journeys' initiative to feature globally renowned chefs at Anthology, its specialty dining venue, to offer guests unique and exquisite dining experiences.
Claude Le Tohic, celebrated for his mastery in French cuisine, brings to the table an illustrious career highlighted by his work at the three-Michelin star Joël Robuchon Restaurant in Las Vegas and the one-Michelin star O’ by Claude Le Tohic in San Francisco. His tenure aboard Explora I is anticipated to introduce guests to a harmonious blend of French sophistication and innovative culinary techniques, featuring dishes that promise an unforgettable gastronomic journey.

The luxury cruise ship Explora I, designed with environmental and marine technologies at the forefront, offers state-of-the-art accommodations and services, including 461 oceanfront suites and penthouses, six restaurants, a dozen bars and lounges, and extensive spa and wellness facilities. It embarked on its maiden voyage in August 2023 and plans to explore a variety of destinations, including the Southern Caribbean, the Panama Canal, the US West Coast, and Hawaii, before heading to Europe for the summer season.
